  • Maz..........ouch.........you are looking at £110 including tax if you do Fri-Sun. Problem is the flights have been out for a while, so the cheap ones have gone and that's the cheapest option I'm afraid. that's leaving ABZ at 8.15pm on Friday and going back 9.15am Sunday.

mmm all this talk of Centreparcs sent me drooling on thier website! My dad usually sends me money for the kid for Christmas - If he does this year do you think it would be bad (considering my debt!) to use it to take the kids away for a few days? could really do with a braek! Anyone know if there are anyways to get a better deal than the website?

y'see i thought £100ish was okay considering it will cost me that much in petrol... plus parking.... plus there is the time saved as it'll be 8 hours driving, give or take... whereas i could fly in over and hour, so say 2.5-3hours including check ins......

haven't really looked at splitting the train journey up Squizz... thanks will do that....

i'm only staying the saturday night as pushing my luck in the first place!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • I was happy to get the price I did for my flights (about £60 all in) from Southampton, but it was the time factor really. I'll have to get a train to Southampton first which is 30 minutes and then check in 40 minutes beforehand, the flight is about 45 minutes - but still better than 5 or 6 hours on the train.

Click on their special offer page which will give you a code.

Book out of season and NOT in school holidays.
    Whinfell is the cheapest!

Comfort or Comfort Plus are both an excellent standard.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

  • I've never been to Centre Parcs. Is it all sporty stuff? And you pay extra for some stuff? It looks nice though.

  • Elantan! Great to see you!

Im just miserable because of Aunt Flo-she's a miserable house guest and I suffer greatly. I have decided to go back on the pill even though DH is a jaffa-cannot bear this anymore-I have a VERY short cycle and it gets shorter and shorter each month-I fear I shall go back to the 21 day cycle I had most of my life-my 'sex' life is crap as it is let alone adding a period in every 2 weeks! (sorry all you men if TMI!!!)

    *sigh*
Hey Bun-it's not just you..look at my post earlier today-I just wanna curl up in the corner and be miserable...I am still on the pill but am thinking of seeing GP to change as 3-4 days each month I'm really really low....nearly cried in carol service in church for no particular reason. Can't wait for next few days to be over.
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
  • no - good point Sally - need to do it.
