Apparently it is being delivered tomorrow, which is perfect since I stayed in all day today and am working all day tomorrow! Ranted at the poor Amazon customer service guy for fifteen entire minutes, soooo going to push for some compensation. ;)

I have undertaken ZERO goddessing for approximately two months, so yesterday dusted the epilator off and currently colouring my hair. Also spent £37 on a large bottle of Gucci Rush from CheapSmells (7.5% cashback). :D

A pain in the rear reactivating my PayPal account which they seem to think someone tried to hack but I suspect was down to my own incompetence. :p Conveniently my new landline is now active, so my first ever call was from an automated service!

Spending today £5 on the Purrs charity auction and £30 on an automated cat feeder from VetUK (clicking through a rescue site for 5% to charity ). Maximuscle and CheapSmells both tracked on Topcashback giving me another tenner to come ...

Laptop has finally been delivered, no phone call as promised and a dented box. Amazon are refusing to accept any responsibility for their courier claiming I should take it up with HDNL! Been offered 10% off for the damage, still have option of returning if faulty - happy with that! :T Also offered a fiver for the missed deliveries which doesn't even cover the half an hour spent on my mobile, so will sharpen my pencil ...

Last night ordered two fabric doorstops from eBay for a Christmas pressie, £13 delivered.

Loads more parcels arrived this morning - now have my wireless router from PlusNet, perfume, various cat toys and cookery books. Chased up some halogen lamps I ordered via eBay weeks ago and they offered a refund on the postage of £6.50 or almost 20% of the total order! :money:

Despite the snow it is still over 12C inside the flat, though the condensation was shocking this morning. I am considering either a dehumidifier or positive input ventilation unit. No point in putting the heating on as I am off to work shortly; will leave the electric blanket on low for Noah.

To be fair I do very well out of ordering online - so many items are delayed, damaged or lost in the post. :rotfl:

Condensation needed mopping again when I got in, now need to buy some more cloths or kitchen roll. Despite the curtains only appearing to make a 1C difference, it must be more as the covered windows are the wettest.

Have the heating on at a constant low setting which is not making much difference to the condensation. Had some (freeeeee!) advice from an engineer friend and an architect friend, and now looking at removable tertiary glazing and getting permission to vent the extractors properly.

    Christmas shopping (total £38.50):
    £6 on my cousin's husband
    £4 on her daughter
    £5 on her son
    £6 on her stepson
    £10 on her birthday present
£7.50 on bits for my aunts cat! :money:

Also spent £15 in TK Maxx on yet another Stellar knife, some poultry shears and small sieve.

Collected two months of prescription meds - then when I got halfway to work realised I hadn't actually paid so I saved £14! Also from the toiletries budget (Bodycare/ Poundland total £22.50):
    £5 on shampoo
    £4.50 on dry shampoo
    £6 on conditioner
    £7 on hair colour.

And from the cleaning budget (Home Bargains/ B&M total £9.30):
    £3 on antibacterial toilet wipes
    £2.70 on toilet descaling bombs
    £1.80 on Stardrops antibacterial spray
£1.80 on Stardrops concentrate/ cream cleaner.

And from the groceries budget (B&M/ Pets at Home total £10.60):
    £1.40 on Napolina wholemeal pasta
    60p on Paxo stuffing
    80p on Amoy sauces
    £1 on Soreen malt loaf
    £3.80 on Purely cat food
    £3 on a feeding bowl.

I am actually getting bored with shopping now .... :rotfl:

    Small potatoes sliced 500g 24p
    Condensed soup 44p
    One onion, 150g 6p
    Healthy cheese 100g 75p

This was actually really easy AND tasty! :D
