I am sorry hun, cats are brilliant company though, my two are my world more than ever now!

I don't think it would be fair to have a dog in a flat, especially as there is no green space nearby where they could have a proper run around. I'd have a Westie again if I had the right environment.

They both look lovely! I didn't realise there was such a thing as indoor cats. Sounds perfect for you.

Thank you to you all for your supportive comments: they really are giving me the impetus to sort myself out!

Last night Mr. Fire Fox ordered an expensive Samsung LED TV from Amazon which he says he will leave when he goes. Guilt money ... I also have £400 of his in my bills account, and he is currently paying the council tax arrears (£300 due to council errors). He is so disorganised with day-to-day money I suspect he won't remember/ notice.

I've heard back from the two Bradford cat rescue centres I e-mailed, and the RSPCA doesn't have any indoor cats needing homing at present. Haven't heard from the Adel Cats Protection yet, may ring later. Mr. Fire Fox was not keen on the idea, as I've said before I'll end up a mad old lady with bushy scarlet hair, loads of cats and a ramshackle house. But he loved the look of Fox right away ...

I am well on my way to being a crazy cat lady! I said this when i was 18 before my ex came into my life, now only 25 and still thinking i will be :rotfl:

Can;t believe he ordered a telly though, tbh if i were you i would smash it up and send it back to him when he goes.

Oh gosh, I have been saying I'd be the mad cat lady for years too!! :eek: We should start an official fan club for crazy old pet ladies ... need a catchier name than that tho.

Adel Cats Protection have got back to me, so I am expecting a phone call from their home visitor ... and I've distracted myself by looking online at expensive things you can buy to keep a cat happy and healthy. Self cleaning litter tray at £100 anyone?

Tomorrow I think I am going to get my hair done. I have agreed to go out with a male friend who has previously told me he has major feelings for me (and Mr. Fire Fox hates, ha ha) and a female friend. To be honest it's the last thing I feel like doing.
