  • Looking forward to it with Homemade chips. Dont want to waste my education from the early days trawling the excellent OS thread :D

Can I just ask "What is the Five year plan and how far into it are you ?"

If I may be so bold :D

I've always been tempted to ask, but haven't.;)

I'm sure to have missed it somewhere though.....:o:o:o

    More than I have. :p

I just make it up as I go along. Usually in a panic at the last minute.

A couple (or 3) years ago my OH and I decided we wanted to move out of this fine country. Night after night of watching Newsnight and arguing with the television and newspapers, more of our freedom and rights being chipped away etc we decided to move abroad. This was incidentally before any of my financial problems. We decided on 5 year plan as our children would then be finished with GCSEs/A-levels etc and we could realistically go.

My mother and step dad came to visit at the height of financial problems and I didn't really have a clue how we were going to get through although I did already know BR was the only way forward. Anyway a few weeks after parents got home they phoned and asked if we wanted to move there and take over step dad's business so he could retire. That is what we are now working towards but we just have to sell our house first.

PS - they live somewhere that looks like my avatar.

  • Oh false alarm . Only empty egg cases. Makes me feel 100% better:rolleyes:.

Does not stop the smell of liqourice type nit shampoo permiating into the deep recessess of my eyeball.

My OH is full of info tonight. Apparently my local Tesco has Mini Easter eggs on the shelf . Good grief

Fun filled night ahead me thinks :D
