madasafish broadband MAC code

I am with madasafish broadband and i have 3 months left on my 4th contract with them. Lately the connection they have been supplying has been horrible at some points my speeds have been as low as 1mb on a usual 6mb connection and my ping has been 390ms at times. I have requested a MAC code and they are trying to charge me for the remainder of my contract, or are they trying to charge me for the MAC code. Does this break OFCOMS rules.

3 months cost for me is= £45
They are trying to charge me £120
Why is this, i have had nothing but problems and i just want to leave.

  • AS this is quite clearly an 'Up Your Income' forum then I would hazard a guess you are at the wrong place.

However, that said, it should be for the remainder of your contract, which they are entitled to charge you for.
