Usually when they beep it means they need a new battery. Might be an idea to phone your local fire station and ask advice. Not 999 but they should be in the phone book. They may operate a system like Merseyside and Cheshire that do free fire safety checks and offer to come out to you.Don't buy the Sun.0

Phoebe had this problem on a Friends I saw recently, she even took it outside and dumped it and it was returned to her! She was told to press the reset button.... but she had seperated it from the main alarm.

I phoned them and someone is coming straight away :T He said they wouldn't like to leave us with no smoke alarm working
