thank god its the last day of the school hols, feeling really down and am struggling at the mo. feeling that life is so unfair, i just want to get well, but then school hols come along and all the added stress, of caring for 2 special needs kids, with no help or respite.
just want to lie down and recharge my batteries.
also feeling guilty cos i keep telling kids how much better life can be wen they are at school, especially daniel, as he is at a resedential school, and i am so looking forward to him going back, god i sound awful dont i

    NO YOU DON'T.

Please don't be so hard on yourself. You do a fantastic job with the boys, and a much better one than many 2 parent families manage.

I've known kids to be put in care cause the parentS couldn't cope. One was a teacher and a policeman.

How you feel is 100% natural Shaz, not awful in the slightest wee bit. 2 big special needs boys, are very very very hard/difficult work, anyone with any knowledge will know that, and not judge you at all for how you are feeling today.

Please take care, this last day and things will be easier to cope with.

    Thinking of you always,

    A x

    hiya guys :hello:

So much I want to say but the words aren't coming at the moment. Christmas was awful, why does it seem to bring out such nastiness? Went away with OH from Monday til Thursday and that was absolutely lovely but then had to come home and back to the nagging and demands etc :(

Sometimes I really just think I want to run away... and the few days break just reinforced the idea :o

Happy new year everyone, hope it's a better one than the last xxx

enjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)
  • I have written myself a new years resolution/to do list in the hope that this organises me over the next few months (always the darkest months for me - don't know why it should be getting brighter as the days get longer but usually gets worse Jan/Feb/Mar).

So, I've gone back on my diet as I have another 3 stone to lose to get down to a healthy weight (I lost 1.5 stone when I was off sick last year - that was all my hard work in the garden - gonna be a lot harder this year being at work full time & studying 24 hours per week). My aim is to get to 10 stone by then end of 2009, so is achievable providing I get some excercise and keep to a healthy diet.

I am getting my "study" and home filing organised this week - firstly for the OU courses so I have a quiet den to retreat to, and secondly for my card selling business that I have recently started. (this is all on my to do list).

Leaving me with the following resolutions:
    a) to excercise at least 3 times per week, even If I don't stick to my excersise plan (which is exhausting lol) (and a half hour walk at lunchtime does count!)

    b) to eat healthily throughout the year even if I don't get down to the calorie count that I need to lose the weight

    c) to submit each and every OU assignment on time, even if I haven't finished all the questions cos its better to get some marks rather than none.

Hopefully I can achieve all of these.

Hope you all have a good 2009.

Aw, I really feel for you. Life is such a B****

I'm ok thanks, just going mad about the new advert change4life. (have you seen it?) It's sending out the wrong message about diabetes and our kids have a hard enough time as it is.

Roll on tomorrow.... Marc has been a pain in the bum all through Xmas, with blood sugars going haywire. Like you, I can't wait to get back to a normal routine.

  • I just typed out a whole long post but changed my mind about posting it.

Why is life so difficult sometimes? Everything is a struggle.

Nice new year - hopefully it will be less eventful than 2008, some events were good but some were tiring.

We need to concentrate on getting money now!

    Happy New Year guys:)
