Hi all,
2 problems with TODAY's bt bill!
1) I have a payment of £23.50 for "temporary out of service" on Sept 27th? What the hell is this!
2) I have a £7.50 late payment charge even though the bill is out today and my last bill was paid online the day after I recieved the last bill!!!!
Any help?
Number to ring bt on and not get a robot?
Regards

Sounds like you were disconnected for non-payment and then reconnected when you paid late back in September/October.Temporary Out Of Service
When a CP applies Temporary Out of Service (TOS) on an End User's line a 'soft' dial tone is used and they can only call 999. All other incoming, outgoing (including via CPS) and emergency calls will be barred irrespective of the method of dialling.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
I have complained to BT about my last bill it arrived on saturday. When the pay by date was friday the day before i got it.
Useless call centre guy kept telling me i get 21 days. When i asked him to explain how i get 21 days when the bill arrives 2 weeks after the date on the bill and 1 day after the pay by date.
He said i will actually get longer to pay than the date on the letter.
Will soon see when i get the next bill.0
