Who's working over christmas?

I'm working christmas again this year, just wondered if anyone else on here is and what job you do? I'm a community carer :D

    i am working xmas eve, boxing day part of xmas day, new years eve with hardly any days off between now and jan.
    but thats the life of a wedding and event planner for you, its my busyiest time of year with 3 weddings , and 4 new years parties

    care worker here also. working christmas eve, christmas day and boxing day. do have new yr's week off tho.
  • Please spare a thought for prison officers, who have to work Christmas and new year (although lucky me is off Christmas day for a change :j
  • I'll be working xmas eve and new years eve - supported housing for elderly people.:D
    My Oh will be working xmas eve, xmas day, boxing day,new years eve, and new year's day - he works in a hospital control room.

    We will be spending a few hours together as a family xmas day afternoon:D
    Reduce,re-use, recycle.

    I am lucky and have a week off over christmas week, but I am a registrar of births, deaths and marriages so I'm sure the office will still be busy in my absence as we have weddings on Christmas eve, 27th and 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st Dec.

    Hope you all have a good one even if you are working.

  • Hospital worker here (operating department practitioner) im working up to and including christmas eve. Working some days the following week (not sure yet as ive been away) but im definitely working new years day.

    Working every day but the 22nd, 25th (Shops Closed) and 28th at an Electricals shop...


    Would rather work Christmas day at some rediculous overtime pay so I could re-arrange Christmas and take the family out for a nice meal with the extra cash...
