How can I avoid 3's rip off internet charges on Contract and get the PAYG rates?
Hi,
I'm sure I read a thread on this from a yr or so ago but searching has not brought it up.
I have just got a 3 contract phone (poor reception - but I guess I'll have to keep it now), and am interested in using their internet service on the mobile handset.
Now I can see that PAYG users have a much more favourable rate, ie 50p per day for upto 120MB of data. On their home page they are asking me to either buy £5 for 1 months access which I will never use or £2.50 for 10MB over a month but I will probably use more than this in a day if I am having an intensive session. I really don't want to have to get a PAYG sim and swap them in and out for browsing.
Now I know someone posted a way of getting the PAYG rate whilst on contract but I couldn't find the thread. Does anyone know?
