Oh its so nice to know I'm not the only one!
Ealier today I posted on the "Small DFW" things thread about how I have one of those pads with sections in it. I have a section for weekly lists, a section for occasions month by month, and a section for christmas.:o
I too write things on my list that I've already done just so I can cross them off.
I also have a pad thats printed on the front with "My Lovely little book of lovely little lists!"

When I go on holiday I write a list of every item that I pack (obviously) but also write a list of what I am going to wear and what I will take in my handbag. Oh and my packing I chunk up into sections so they are lists within lists, and lists within that if it is toiletries/medicines/cosmetics as some stuff will go in my shower bag, some in my make-up bag and some in a small cosmetic bag and some in a clear plastic bag in my hand luggage. Oh the scope for lists is endless. My OH finds it hilarious
(PS - I also want to know where MissP got her book from)

ahem I am just the sameI'm 29 and in a few weeks will be 30! It's confirmed that being list obsessed is age related then
I do like my lists, shopping lists why do I bother? I buy the same stuff week in week out BUT I need that list otherwise I just go mad and buy stuff I don't need, I forget toothpaste etc
Lists at work, lists of jobs to do in the house, lists of presents to buy, holiday lists of what to pack and I feel really proud when I put a line through when I have completed it.
What about when you find a pen that makes you write nice or how you have to start the list again because you have ruined it by a spelling mistake

Just counted all my notepads on the computer desk and there's 9
I really do have an obsession with notepads, I've even got one that's tesco value so I'm not even fussy what tehey look like. Although I gotta admit I've got a softspot for hard back cute ones
They're all full of lists, mainly things I need to remember for the next day and my incomings/outgoings, although each day I forget to look at it and always forget about it till it's too late. cleaning the car for example...It's been on the last 2 months lists but coz I don't look at it till i'm back on the comp of a night it's always too late
I think mine is mainly down to my love of writing, I always write things down like what I'm listening to at the time then I'll write it in different styles. God I'm gonna sound a total nutjob here, but when I was at school I used to do everyone's lines for them of a night because I loved writing so much. I'm just horrified now that I didn't charge, That would have been a right little earner!Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

I've found myself writing more and more lists since I hit my 30s too (I'm 34 now). I am quite forgetful so I need lists. I would never rewrite a to-do list after crossing something off it though... I prefer to have a visual record that I've actually done stuff and I like to see lots of things crossed off, which is probably just as weird. If I get interrupted while making a list I usually forget at least one thing I should have included on it. I have at least 4 notebooks (not counting my diary).0
