Hi, i have upgraded my hard drive and since I can't get any sound out of my pc. I have an internal soundcard on a motherboard that is a few years old now - VIA VT82C686A. i have an intermittant fault wiht my on board soundcard, i just uninstall it and then reboot and then windows (XP ) detects it and installs it..... then all fine for a little while
