Hi mrs e no i don t have that book (i normally just read them when they come in at work lol)
I quite fancy a hot prawn starter this year ,but i could have the recipie for another time if you wouldn t mind posting it thanx.
Sugar spun it will be worth it in the end theres plenty more christmases.
Life is short, smile while you still have teeth :D
  • For years we have had either prawn cocktail or prawns and avocado but last year decided to try something a bit more adventurous and made scallops wrapped in thin sliced smoked bacon with a maple syrup sauce. It was lovely when me and OH tried it out at home but on the day my mum stuck them in the oven and we didn't know how long she'd had them in for and there was a fair amount of water escaped at the bottom of the tray so they were poached really rather that roasted. Didn't go down well. Bless her she was only trying to help. This year it's back to prawns but will wrap them into little parcels with smoked salmon and a little salad at the side.

Love fried Camembert, think I should include that in over the xmas period somewhere.

I had a fantastic cauliflower & honey soup this year in a post restaurant, it was divine:D

You're so lucky, I've always wanted to go on the OE

I would recommend the Orient Express to one and all, its one of the top moments of my life, (haveing dd had to be the best).
Dont know if you shop at Sainsburys, but if you have 3,000 reward points (would be £15.00 sainsburys vouchers), they have a deal with the Orient Express Company and all subject to booking terms and conditions, but if you book between 6 and 9 months from the trip, they take a 1/3 off the price, thats per person, (so you could in theory take 10 people and only use 1 set of 3,000 points.)

I'll be honest that 1/3rd off made the massive differerence, our trip was xmas round trip should been £180, each got it for £120.00. x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
