Betamax/Finarea Client is a Memory Hog

Beware if you are using any of the Betamax Finarea client for VOIP calls (eg NONOH, SMSDiscount. POIVT etc).
These programs grab up to 50% of CPU resources! If you have two clients installed you can expect your computer to almost grind to a halt.
Any suggestions what these clients are doing that consume such much CPU time?

In standby, they normally use barely any CPU. Talking, it can be 20-30%. Rarely, one runs away and freezes the PC up for a bit, and it can take a while to hang up a call or shut the program down.0
