Paypal keeping my money

You said they did. :rolleyes:i don't want to get into petty arguments any more than you but sorry, i can't ignore that rubbish.
First to quote you, "paypal did not take any money maybe ebay did" How do you flamin know? it's my bank account were talkin about here
Yep- mars own pedigree. And "ebay and paypal are two seperate companies" true, but ebay own paypal and share information back and forth, if they don't how do they know to release your funds when a buyer leaves a positive feedback under their new rules??
And finally "that is like buying a mars bar and complaining about pedigree"
no. NO, NO, NO...it just isn't, i mean do mars own pedigree? and if you pay your ebay fees through paypal then paypal will hit your bank account if there is not enough in your paypal to cover the fees, that was what i was refering to.
Mars & pedigree, ebay & paypal..........you just can't compare them, sorry.
And they are seperate companies. Connected, but seperate. Your issue is (if it is ebay that have debited your paypal account [who have then debited your bank account]) with ebay. I don't really care about paypals reputation, but I do care about spreading misinformation as it merely serves to confuse and mislead people.
You're not making much sense, you're contradicting yourself, and I still think there is more to this than what you're saying. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

ok, lets put this to bed now, i came on here to make one post to help the op and anyone else who may read this and may be having similar problems and i find it quite ridiculous that i have been bombarded by so many pro-ebay and pro-paypal people, to a degree that i have felt the need to defend myself and it's even more ludicrous that i am now being called into question....and quite how this thread got onto the fact mars own pedigree is beyond me but it is a sign of how pointless some replies to my original post have been.
Frankly i find the majority of these posts defending ebay and paypal to be on a par with you going into one of the consumer debt forums and posting there that you have no debts, while great for you, not really helpful to the op or the topic.
All i wanted to point out was this, with the obvious exception of those committing fraud and deception, paypal can not hold anybody's funds for 6 months unless YOU let them, so if you are the victim of an unfair account freeze or "limitation", as this op seemed to feel they were, and paypal say they wont release your money for 6 months then just use moneyclaim.gov.uk to make a claim and you'll get your money back alot sooner.
If anyone has a problem with that then by all means reply, that is your right, ...just don't expect any further reply from me........i will of course reply to anyone who has a relevant question/query about this subject or is experiencing difficulties with paypal.
While i do feel that the service and treatment that alot of people (not everyone) receive from paypal is poor to say the least i am not anti paypal, i do sometimes still use them myself although i would not ever use them to process large amounts of money ever again and i have found that i do not have any real problems using them (Paypal) to process occasional purchase payments and small occasional sales so i would urge anyone reading this thread who may have read some of my bad experiences not to panic, it is unlikely that anything on this scale would ever happen to you however account limitations can affect anyone, and often when paypal freeze accounts the person concerned really needs that money and they, in my opinion, should not be denied access to their money by paypal which is why i felt compelled to post here advising people who may have been affected by such account freezes that they do not have to accept them.0 -
i realise this thread is a little out of date but for those who may read this and are experiencing similar problemsQUOTE]
The quote above is how i started my original post, i am stating that while i realise this is an old post i am just posting to advise those who may stumble upon this thread and are having similar problems.
My orgional post (if you have bothered reading it) is not a point of view its a factual post that informs people that they do not have to accept 6 month account limitations and how to remove them effectively, with just a litle hint of my opinion of paypal account freezes at the end....What's so bad about it?
I dont know if the op is reading this or not but maybe they are maybe they are not, my post may be useful to them or others, i found the thread so perhaps other who are having problems will too, thats why i posted.0 -
Well actually you dug up a very old post to put your POV across. The OP is long gone.
Your argument only works if it had been a recent post
this is the un-edited sentence that you quoted before making the comment above ,
"ok, lets put this to bed now, i came on here to make one post to help the op and anyone else who may read this and may be having similar problems"
you quoted me as saying
"ok lets put this to bed now, i came on here to make one post to help the op"
Don't edit my posts in your quotes to make it seem like you have a point when you dont.
i dont have an argument to make work, (as you put it) i had a point to make that may apply to others not just the op which i stated in my origional post on here and in the un-edited sentence you quoted above, but of course if you didn't delete the "and anyone else bit" your post wouldn't have made sense...which is why you should not have posted it.0
