well, I have decided to work from the top down.... so I have started to attack the second worse room(worst one is spare room, cant do much until after chrimbo, all prezzies in there), the kids room.
Have cleared the beds and made them
Pulled out all the carp from under the bed
Started to relocate all the toys to their allocated homes... instead of all over the floor!

And I have put away the stuff that lives in the bathroom cabinet, since I have finally got it up.
Quick cuppa then back to it... want to atleast get kids room done before I have to go do the panto for the infants school!

  • Good morning. Does anyone fancy joining me for HHWP (half hour wrapping presents) 11.15-11.45? :D

    Was it just me then?
I've made my own gift tags by scanning a motif off the wrapping paper and printing it onto card. I love coordinating things.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Kids room all done and sparkly.... wasnt as bad as I thought. Anyone want to take bets on how long it will last??!!
Aslong as I keep on top of it, and make kids put stff away behind them, all I should need to do is wash windows, change beds and hoover in there before christmas.

Next room will be our room, havent got time to start that now so will make a
start when I get back from school run.... see how much I can get done before work tonight.
i'm going to leave the stairs and living room for DP to do while I am at work. Dont think it will get done but it's worth a try lol.

Anyhoo, off to my dressing room to become a sheep. Back later.

Am back from hairdresser and it looks fab:D Very pleased as it was looking rubbish recently :p
Kind of annoyed at DDs school, it is their nativity play and DD forgot to hand in her slip to say we wanted tickets and now they are sold out. The letter we got had no mention of limited availability, if i had known they were in short supply i would have taken the slip in myself to make sure it got to the right person. Its not the end of the world but it would have been nice to see her. Just having a quick sandwich and a cuppa then will start tidying.
