Bins emptied and sorted into confidential waste (goes to work, can't be bothered to shred it...), recycling and rubbish. Bed stripped. Lots of stuff in the way upstairs, so off to see if I can tame it somehow

Thank you SO much to lovely Triker who told us about the santa videos. That is SO fantastic!!! My little girls COULD NOT BELIEVE IT when they saw their photo in Santa's book... esp as my girls' names are spelt a little unusually. They were knocked sideways when they read their names, even my little DD3 spelt her name out with increasing incredulity, that it was actually spelt right for her...!!!! YAY!

Wardrobe hoovered, any summer stuff lurking in it removed, and all winter suits now hung up in it. Off to see whether I can get to the spare bed to strip it so I can put the sheets in the WM with the ones from my bed! Then I need to start packing away my summer clothes properly.

I'm in again - I didn't do my list today but I did do a load of washing, a big Asda shop, go to football (and to the pub afterwards to drown our sorrows :rolleyes: ), make some more cards up (and post a couple), and visit my mum to collect the Avon and deliver the presents I had to order for her and my aunty to give to people (including me)!

lil_me - your post about your friends was lovely - it is hard knowing so many children like that, but it is sooooo worth it. I know it's my job to teach them, but they have taught me as much, if not more - you're right, it is an honour to be with them
