    Summermoon how lovely.

Kitchen finished for the night and i'm knackered, still have wee bits to do in there tomorrow but it's not bad. Managed to put out 4 boxs of paperwork so i'll go through that tomorrow.

Now to clean up livingroom again and chill for awhile. Night night all.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Did anyone find Nigella really irritating on her Christmas specials? .... Who on earth finds that lychees remind them of their childhood? I'm about 10 years younger than her and didnt know what a lychee was until about 1990! grrrrr

Actually, I'm a tad older than Nigella and I remember lychees as being the 'in thing' for gastronomes in the seventies. In fact, I have a vivid memory of being in a fairly posh restaurant (but in the provinces) with someone in the late 70s and he asked the waitress, when it came to desert, if they had any lychees. The waitress's response was to list all the cheeses they had like stilton, brie etc. etc. :rotfl:

Oh :rotfl: I thought it was for one of the littlies pigpen sorry :o I got mine from Littlewoods, 20% off might still work XX053.....

Summermoon you're brave! I've had a small puppy once over Christmas when I took on the little rescue Holly, was chaos! Fitting in the time for her needs aswell as everyone elses, she took up sooooo much of my time, then was all the costs involved with her jabs and everything. Is the puppy toilet trained?

I've been looking on the dog forums and can't help noticing the pooches on there in need of homes, I just don't think I can do anything just yet, still hurts loads, still thinking of fostering for 2 of the rescues www.pawzforthought.org or www.shak.org.uk but I think it'll be a little while. Pawz has a lovely springer, he looks like a really nice dog, been there a while which suprises me.

Nigellas books and recipes are amazing, well most of them, but she gets on my nerves! Bit like Anthea, some great ideas but I can't watch her programmes without cringing!

Wohoooo TOM wins!! Better of the two in my opinion, only watched it because there was faff all else on (don't have sky movies) but the kids have enjoyed it
One day I might be more organised...........

Soappie - I've never seen that film - infact I've not watched many films - short attention span and a fidget me.

Dusty - force yourself one day to sit down and watch it. I find it seriously heart warming. Kathrine Hepburn as a methodist missionary and Humphrey Bogart as a gin swigging boat owner stuck together on his steam powered boat. I love it!!!
