  • SSL - wish you'd posted that before I paid more in Lidl's, but it is Tate & Lyle's.

    And Tom is in Holby, not Casualty, although I wouldn't mind where he was if he was my doctor!:p I thought is Freestyle was amazing. You could see he was thoroughly enjoying himself.

    pink - was it you that was asking about golden syrup? I checked the prices in Tesco tonight. Tesco value 680g for 77p (thats what I usually buy) Lyles 454g for 99p or 907g £1.57.

    johanne - is your water back on yet? Is DD in a routine or is she not in a routine because OH works shifts? My ex worked shifts so I know it can be difficult.

    lil_me - on the sky plus, when you go into the planner, if you highlight the programme you dont want the boys to delete, and then press the blue button, a white K with a blue background and a white circle round it will appear (stands for keep programme). Mind you, if they try to delete it, a message will come up and they can still go ahead and delete. I'm well impressed with you boning and rolling a turkey. My ex is a chef and he always used to do that for my mum. She asked him one year to show her how to do it and she's been doing it for years now. Just as well eh? lol She freezes a 'cracker' for New Year :D

    Did anyone find Nigella really irritating on her Christmas specials? I'm playing catch up with my sky plus and I just want to slap her. I love her books and I love her when she's being interviewed, but I'm finding her programmes more and more irritating. Who on earth finds that lychees remind them of their childhood? I'm about 10 years younger than her and didnt know what a lychee was until about 1990! grrrrr And I cannot believe she just described something as 'beaver pink'!!!!

    CAn I ask a stupid question? Who is Tom on Strictly?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T:T:T:T

    Just read that out to OH who said 'what's beaver pink, 'cos beavers are brown aren't they?':eek::rotfl:

    Pigpen do you need one of those mattress protectors? I can pick you up one when the centres reopen after Chrimo/New Year. :rotfl: @ you spooking your sister, you mean person. My WMs and TD is on full tilt too. I also have DS2 refusing his nappies because of p woman, but at the minute I just could do with less laundry no matter if they think it helps (I don't think it does!)

    LOL.. not for me.. lol I just have one of the quilted fabric ones.. but the TD wrecked it last wash and I can feel ALL the neebs on the mattress and they are so uncomfy.. it's like sleeping on rice krispies.. without the pop!!! lol

    I cannot understand why they tell them not to wear nappies.. it is ridiculous.. they just make our life difficult!
