Yep, it was a good deal yesterday, and it's still a good deal today (and for as long as it lasts) ;)

(...oh, and the Model number is A62, not A64 - ah, see you've now corrected your title):p

  • a payasugo phone locked to orange would presume, so should be good with all orange sim cards or you could pay £10 to get it unlocked as not a nokia

I subscribe to the fiver a month Orange Care insurance. If I were to buy this phone and put my pay monthly SIM card in the phone, does anyone know if that would invalidate my Orange Care? For instance, if I used this phone instead and it was stolen, what would happen about:

    a. Getting a replacement phone?
    b. Getting a new SIM and having the cost of any calls made covered?

I know I could also just stop paying for the cover if I got such a cheap phone, but I like to be covered for any calls made if it were stolen and getting a replacement SIM card sorted quickly and the like...

It matters to me, because as I said, I want to be covered for any calls made if the phone was stolen. I also want to be able to get a replacement phone or SIM card at least and keep my contract pretty much as it was. So it would be good to know if the Orange Care would be worth anything if I changed the phone to one of these cheap ones, rather than upgrade by the usual channels.
  • ring orange and ask them, would think is a good solution, but on pay as u go can only loose the credit and for a fiver u can say buy tio the phone and get the imei no locked, so not much at risk except your number and credits, may be you would be better on contract, if u need the frills
