Ooooooh I live in Northampton too Yargo!!
And yes I can confirm it is dark and cold here.
I had another DFW idea today. I bought OH an xbox for his 30th birthday last week but couldnt believe how dear games are:eek: realised my cousin has one too so they sat down and have planned what they would like to play and each going to ask for different games for Chrimbo then swap! They also swapped a few games today and OH is now sat happy as Larry (but rather noisily!!) playing a "new" game.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Hello Everyone,
Sorry I'm a bit late....been really busy
Today I have.....- gone to Weight Watchers and discovered that although I have shovelled Mars bars down my neck and had far too much syrupy cough mixture that I have not gained weight
- not bought a coffee while I was there (I owe my sealed pot £4.50 when I have some money)
- hubby has re-imbursed me for phone bill and the gloves that I bought his mum yesterday - that's handy as I will not get paid this week :-(
- went shopping with a list to buy the essentials for the week - mum paid :-)
- checked quidco
- moved excess funds to my savings account
- made soup for work
Think that is about it....I am back at work tomorrow, so I am going to have a shower and an early night.
Take care everyone,

Hi Everyone, Sounds like people have had a good sunday.
Today I have celebrated Christmas with my family:xmastree: :xmassmile :xmassign: :xmastree: :xmassign: :xmassmile :rudolf:
:j :j :j :j
Not seen my mum and dad for about 3 months, so it was really good to see them. DD has come home for the weekend. Did the present thing. We had Turkey, Veg from allotment, 99p xmas pud from wilkos yumyum. Homemade mince pies. Watched a couple of Crimbo films it was great.
This has settled my edginess about going away over Christmas. I am all but packed, apart from a few bits and pieces. I can't believe I sound so ungrateful its just that it is different and I have been struggling with it.
So mum and dad should nearly be home by now. DD is watching her last Desperate Housewives, and I am just printing a couple of work bits out on here.
But I will check my online Banking
LSD, rolls and crisps
Check my house insurance to see what whe are covered for away from home
Make list for going into town with DD in the morning
Think that is it for tonight:DMy finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
Saving for a rainy day- Glad you had a good day with your family.0
