Hi, I am going to have to buy oil this week, crikey, anyway went on the oilprice check site, which is very helpful, then read about the Heatmax, which seems a very good idea, saves your oil, cos alters the burning rate, a bit more to it than that, but you would have to read it!! Anyway, looked on their forum at feedback which seems to be very good, also they are charging £40, but today on offer at £30 so I am thinking of buying one, but would like to know if any of our moneysaving folk have one? Reply asap if you can, ta, regards oap

Hi, further to my previous post, after reading the feedback on oilpricecheck, heatmax, I am delaying purchasing one!!!
  • When buying oil, try to get a few of your neighbours involved ie a syndicate, the more oil you buy the cheaper it normally is. Everyone is better off customer gets a cheaper price the oil company gets to deliver a large quantity in a small area thus cutting down on costs.
if i had known then what i know now

We did this in October and paid 36.9p a litre, over 4000litres bought on syndicate. Just order 800 litres on my own and paying 33.7p a litre.
Have prices gone up so much in last few months that its cheaper now than syndicate
