Did the buyer not report that it had not arrived at her previous address? then this would be classed as non delivery.
I have asked her to check at her old address to check if it has been delivered there but haven't heard back yet.

I think she only get 45 days to raise a Paypal dispute. If it goes past that then its not your problem. I wouldnt contact her again.

No, as Custardy posts above, the buyer had not yet checked.

The OP wants to claim from the Post Office because the buyer gave the OP the wrong address.

How is that the fault of the Post Office?

Even if the buyer eventually checks and claims that the item was not delivered to that address, that does not prove that the item was not delivered. The current occupants of that address may be lying about a package that unexpectedly arrived.

Frankly the buyer should take the loss as the buyer is at fault.

Every wrong but successful claim against the Post Office just results in increased postal charges for us all.

Claim from Royal Mail anyway then, compensation

Another example of bad and fraudulent advice!!!!
  • So far the buyer is being pleasant although I know that could change. They have 0 feedback so have nothing to go on.

Am I the only one suspicious?

She has a Paypal & Ebay account ...... has had for sometime, as she had them at her previous address ..... and has no feedback?

And now, apparently, her purchase has gone to the wrong address ....

Perhaps I'm over-sensitive, but it seems as though something isn't right here
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)
