New scientist vs the Biomedical scientist

I personally rather like New Scientist, but it won't keep you up to date in your chosen field (whatever that is - might be more helpful if you said!). I subscribe to NS because I enjoy reading it, and it's a good way of keeping track of what's going on in other sciences, but anything related to science that I'm directly interested in I'll have already heard about.
Your uni library should have subscriptions to both - go there, read them and find out which one you like.:coffee:Coffee +3 Dexterity +3 Willpower -1 Ability to Sleep

Neither. Scientific American is the only science magazine worth getting (short of getting actual journals like Nature or Science). I've been a subscriber for over 10 years and it really is a top tier publication. Compared to SciAm, New Scientist is like a goss mag. SciAm may be a little pricey but look around for offers and cashbacks etc. As others said, you could just go to your library but I know it isn't cool for students to go to libraries anymore (I certainly never do!).0
