Grapes/kiwis in the fridge when bought normally in season and everything else in the fruit-bowl.

Most of our fruit goes in the fruit bowl. But apples, grapes, strawberries etc go in the fridge. The bananas go under the cupboard they seem to keep better there. HTH.

Bananas keep best when hanging and not in contact with anything and Morrisons now actually sell a purpose made free-standing hook for bananas in their utensils section.
When I lived in Spain the bananas kept for at least 2 weeks in a bowl, here you're lucky if they last more than two days before wilting and turning black.0 -
MSP I was just about to point that out about bananas apparently they give off a "toxin" that makes other fruit die quicker, I keep all fruit in the bowl except strawberries, which I take out an hour before I plan to eat them I hate really cold fruit, don't think its as tasty.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

I like a nowl too. I'm with you, Iwanttosave, I hate cold fruit. Room temperature, or straight from the plant in a warm strawberry patch.
I always put my babies in the strawberry patch when we pick, and they spend a cheerful hour stuffing their faces, adorable.
I hang my nanas in my porch, cos it's cool. They keep extremly well.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
