I dont think I've ever actually tasted chestnuts

I love nuts, they just dont love me back :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • They are quite soft and sweet tasting, not like peanuts/brazil nuts etc etc which I don't like.

Hi Linda, I seem to keep crossing paths with you xx

I am also in my dressing gown:D ............need to start thinking about getting ready.

Hubby has the flu so I am flying solo this weekend and have loads to do.

I love Christmas Markets, last week when you went to York was it the medieval fayre?

Hi Louise, When we went to York on Wed it was the continental market that was on!
Still excellent - I had some lovely creamy garlic mushrooms!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

  • Mmmm garlic mushrooms - sounds delicious...

I love nuts - some anyway - but not chestnuts

Soft play was great actually! OH got stuck in with DS so it was a bit of a break for me. The cafe is lovely and we had toasted cheese sandwiches, fruit, and cake for lunch :T DS ate LOADS, more than he ever does at home, so he's having a post-lunch snooze - long may it go on...

Got to go to the hell that is Mothercare later, DS seems suddenly short on trousers - some are quite old as I used to roll them up so they're a bit thin for winter. And socks - well socks just vanish. And bibs...

The cats are fed up of the rain so are chasing each other around the house, only one of them doesn't want to play and is getting quite fed up, turning his back on the other and hiding under the sofa :rotfl:
