Ah the folly of vanity... I'm actually up and out EARLIER than for work for a hair appointment...
Still, most of prep done yesterday. Mainly a few bits of shopping then building a tiramisu and decorating a yule log, making living room festive and partyish, clean bathroom, get changed and PARTY (actually prob fall asleep in corner...)
Can't wait to see Hubbles' face when he sees his present:j

Morning Luc! And all who follow of course

Mmmm tiramisu, would be lovely right now! I like the tiramisu gateau M&S do
Hope all goes well - I am sure it will, you seem SO organised :T
It is chucking it down here
not sure what we are doing today at all! Can't decide if it's still too early for the Christmas decorations, with two cats and a toddler... but I can't feel really festive without them
I planned to wrap the presents last night, but you can't do that without a tree up!
Right, going to forage in the kitchen for breakfast...0 -
Did you have a nice family afternoon yesterday DD?
I personally would put the tree up this weekend if we were staying home for Xmas. Toddler and cat antics can be tolerated for the sake of a bit of festive sparkle
In fact it is the perfect wet and miserable day activity so long as there's a supply of warm mince pies and hot drinks...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Don't suppose you could point me in the direction of that sky movie deal could you?
Thanks

morning - well, I started the thread yesterday and then disappeared - got back from work and OH had removed TV from room including the cable box    so no internet connection   . God, I felt like my right arm had been cut off.
this morning, he has just left the box with the cable in it in the room whilst he paints, so I can get online and AQA (and talk to you lot obviously
).
Quickly dipped into the yesterday's thread but to see if there was anything juicy happening - Maz, you said BB reminds you of Kirsty McColl - did you mean me? I'm VERY flattered if you did!!
I'm on taxi duty tonight  into Poole around 5.30 and then pick up from Poole and on to Bournemouth - yuck for both. Poole will be full of fleeing shoppers at 5.30 and then Bournemouth will be busy with party goers.
I'm also guessing I'll be expected to crawl out of bed around 3 to trawl over to Bournemouth.......
I guess in a way I shouldn't moan as he has worked very hard decorating over the last day or so, but on the other hand, as soon as it's finished on Tuesday, he'll go back to doing booger all day in, day out!

BB I think that it is out of order if he expects you to get out of bed at 3am to go and pick him up ! Would he do it for you ? From what you have said about him I VERY much doubt it. OK he has done some decorating, but you feed him EVERY night and I bet he doesn't even wash up afterwards ! Please don't let him get away with any more than he already does. You deserve to be treated so much better imho. XXNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

I have to say, I dread the Christmas party time, he has 3 or 4 nights out and I end up taxi-ing him around, often when it's mega busy on the roads and on top with the fear of driving I have, I really hate it.
I've got some strange kind of cold, a really bad cough which has suddenly started, almost like a cold in reverse and I'm going to say that Iwill drop him in Poole, then take him to Bournemouth but he will have to get a taxi back from there. I know what he is like getting a taxi - he hates it as it is costly (will be around £12 back from Bournemouth) but it's his choice to go out twice!
(no - he doesn't wash up - I'm sure Alisha Dixon's song was about him!)

Feeling a bit panicky today as I have too much to do and not enough time:eek:
Due to my own silly fault I have to start someones accounts over from scratch as I did not back it up securely its going to take me hours:o but its the very last client on the books and I am determined to get everything off my mind for 2009.
Sat and wrote all my Christmas cards that need posting this morning and my family cards. Girls Christmas night out tonight so I am not crossing the doorstep tomorrow and plan to put the decorations up (slowly).
Cat is poorly again and has stopped eating, I really hope we dont lose her before Christmas but she is very frail and thin now:(
Hope your party goes well Luc xxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
