Sounds like a pile of crap. The web address given isn't even Orange's site.

I've 3 phones from OSPS £300 cash back per phone that's £900 pound!
I've had all the money and the last one is due now.
This text looks like an SMS sent my trying all the mobile numbers in a range. I used to get loads but when I callled the 0800 it was always a sales outfit. I'd be promised free upgrades etc until they heard I was on OVP etc.
Sure check the details but the cash back is worth more than the 10% off. The lifetime deal may be a Orange promotion to get people to stay on the same contract, like their upgrades programm where you get a "free" upgrade but have to stay on the same contract for another 12 months!Seth.0 -
orange are doing 10% discount of your Orange line rental for LIFE if you go to there site it tells you about it.

I think its only if you have been with them for a year and go for another 12 months. They are also doing 6 months 1/2 line rental for existing customers which works out better value than the 10% off.

I've just seen one of these texts, It says nothing about signing up for another 12 months, and you need to reply with your name and address, why would you need to do that if it was orange proper? They would just do it automatically, and have your name and address.
If you read the small print on the web site, you will be committing yourself to 12 more months, without the chance of a new phone0 -
The words touch ,barge, and pole come to mind here.0

as the others said looks like a con to get you to upgrade for another 12 months without giving you a free handset.0

Never subscribe to any upgrade or offers from your "so called" service provider without asking them first to verify your account number. If they don't have this information, or they say that they cannpt divulge it to you, then the chances are that they are not who you think they are. In any case you should always ask for the full detail of the deal to be sent to you in writing.
I had a lady call me from the Philippines the other day, purporting to be from Orange. God alone knows who she was actually representing. But she did purport to be from Orange.0 -
there is a deal at the moment with orange that you get 10% off if you upgrade contract for other 12 months but have no handset. 18 months contract will give you 10% off, buyback and free handset, from orange shop.0

upgrading for a 10% discount over a new phone is a con. if your tariff is £30, thats £3 off a month, so £36 a year. A new phone is probably at least £100-£200 on contract.
wonder which is the better deal?!?!?!0 -
but it than goes upto 15% the following year, 20% the next and than 25% (and stay) at 25% for each year after that. But I do agree with you it is really a con but than again some ppl don't even upgrade each year, they are happy with their current phone. So at least on this way they get some money. I did the 18 month on my current tariff cause I got £100 cashback as well :-D.0
