Rude Stagecoach manager...who to complain to?

I hate Stagecoach. Run by a filthy homophobic bigot, as well. And worst of all, they pretty much run all the buses and trains in my area. So, until I pass my driving test, I have no choice but to line their pockets!
Nice bit of libel?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I live in Devon - we also have Stagecoach. They offer a terrible 'service' if you can call it that. The other day I was in town and had 5 bags of shopping with me, i was the only person at the bus stop. My bus came along I waved it down, bent down to pick up my bags and it had driven right past me! This is not the first time it has happened. I have also been on a bus and witnessed, people running for the bus (which I am already on) and the driver has shut the doors, and the person is banging on them to be let in and he will not open them and drives away. I have too many complaints against Stagecoach to mention here and now. Iam seriously thinking of writing to our Local MP. The buses charge a fortune for a shabby service, and the drivers are very rude (most of them cannot speak very good English either), and they constantly give you the wrong change!.0

I don't have to rely on Stagecoach, thankfully, but the experience I have had very much reflects what is said here. Rude, unhelpful call centre, restricted ways to buy uni-rider, down grading buses, pulling of essential services etc etc. All, of course, to maximise profit.
That's what happens when you put profit over service. :rolleyes:0 -
Well, I'm fairly happy about our Stagecoach service.
We do have a few hiccups, usually when it's the school bus and packed solid or when the motorway is closed, but more often than not, the service works well.
I use the service every day and know a lot of the drivers and they're mainly pleasant, doing a difficult job and sometimes getting flak for circumstances outside their control.
For those who aren't happy about late or missing buses, I would most certainly email Stagecoach.
Make sure that you make your points clearly, with proof and (of course) without abuse.
I always make a point of contacting them if I've got some positive feedback, such as when drivers went out of their way (literally going off-route) to get people home during floods, so maybe they see me as not just a complainer.Someone complained to Stagecoach and were told "well everyone around there has a car anyway!"
I think this response is absolutely disgraceful and I would have taken it further.
If they publish a route and timetable, they should stick to it.0 -

buying a car is not always the answer - not everyone has a licence0 -
Write to Brian Soutar and his siser Anne Gloag (in Perthshire). Tell them to check out the comments about Stagecoach on this website and see if you get a reply. Unless your OH was drunk or abusive there was no reason for the manager to tell him to be quiet." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
