I've just read the account T&C's innovate, and can't find any reference to this penalty. Do you have a link to the information?innovate wrote:Be aware though that A&L have a £25 penalty for trasnferring your money.0 -

Unfortunately that £25 charge negates the extra 0.2% interest, and it would involve the hassle of switching. I guess that either hallifax or bradford and bingley at 5% are the way forward for me.0 -

I have an A+L Direct ISA issue 1 at 5.15%
I was lead to believe on this site a while back the £25 charge no longer stood after someone challenged it and can't find it mentioned on A+L site.

BTW Are we talking about £25 charge to transfer in or out of A+L.0 -
I had faint recollections of the same, so I did a quick search and came up with this thread. I seem to remember being a bit annoyed having just gone through the pain of applying to abbey two months beforehand on the basis of that charge.anticlaus105 wrote:I was lead to believe on this site a while back the £25 charge no longer stood after someone challenged it and can't find it mentioned on A+L site.0
