Signed up for the '24mb' service last year, my exchange is supposed to be connected this February but I have heard nothing since - have they connected anyone yet? How long before go live should I expect to hear? Does anyone know how I go about getting a MAC from plusnet (assuming I will need one at some point)?
I think....

you have to ring them and ask for it.(or if you are in no rush for it email them as it only last for 30 days when you do get it off them)Jesus said to him, "I am the way.The truth, and the life."
"No one comes to the Father, but through Me."
There can be only one 'GOD'0 -
They'll get in touch with you as soon as they are ready to proceed with your order. Be* will email you asking you to get your MAC from your existing provider. Don't ask PlusNet for it yet, as it may expire before Be* get around to using it - especially if they hit any technical problems at your exchange.michaels wrote:Signed up for the '24mb' service last year, my exchange is supposed to be connected this February but I have heard nothing since - have they connected anyone yet? I migrated from PlusNet to Be*. The best way to get your MAC from PlusNet is to complete the online ticket process.
Go here:- portal.plus.net/my.html?action=tickets#
Click "New Query", and a wizard will appear.
Click "Account Changes - Upgrade, Downgrade, Cancellations & Moving House"
Click "Cancel/Migrate my account"
Click "My account is an ADSL account"
Click "I wish to MIGRATE out to another ISP"
Click the option which describes best why you are leaving PlusNet.
This is generally the quickest way to get your MAC from PlusNet. They'll reply to your ticket with the MAC (they may also telephone you first to see if there is anything they can do to keep you).0
