My short-fused friend has a contract with O2 and his phone's become unreliable. I said I'd sort it out for him, and after much expense and pillar-to-posting I took your advice and chose the "terminate your account" option - within a few minutes it was agreed that a new Nokia 6610i would wing its way to him FoC.

(Yes, I do have all his details, plus a good line in sincerity.)
