    I've put a toolbox and the racetrack in my basket, and it shows the race track free - just £16.63 to pay. :confused:

    And then changed again. Odd. Can't get the little cars here. Aah, well.

    Ok

    Some people have tried to collect it on HDUk but even self service isnt giving the reduced price.

    Only 1 Success - quote:
    have just collected and took my blackberry with me to show them the agreed emailed reservation price (just print out the email) they manually reduced the price to £12.69 for the race track and the doodle!!

    Don't ask Don't get

    Another quote from HDUK;

    My brother has just been to collect this at the Balham store.

    I instructed him to take the print-out and prepare to argue. When the cashier said it wasn't valid he kicked up a storm and asked to see the manager. The manager apologised after a lengthy rant by my brother and gave him the discount.

    I think it will work if you are very determined and and the manager isn't an @ss.

    I now have a Christmas gift for my Nephew! Noew my brother and sister in law have to deal with the clutter and noise! hahaha.

    What a deal!

    Another quote;

    went in with the printed email,they said they could not honor it ,but after seeing the manager somehow they put it through and it came up at £14.68,for deluxe racing set and 2 roary friction cars.
    well pleased great gift for grandson.
    happy christmas.
    just lucky i suppose,hope some of you have same luck.

  • I mailed them the other day and they said they wont be honouring it.

    Subject: 2 for 1 offer.

    Thank you for your e-mail regarding the items on the list for 2 for 1 offer, we do believe all of these items should not be on the list.

    We have forwarded this error to the website people who will amend this and we will not honour the offer for the higher price charged at £14.98 as is it an invite to buy and we can refuse.

    I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause
