Possible instore glitch Argos toys 2 for £15 with Roary @ £39.14 (merged)

If you click on the 2 toys for £15 tab;
The cheapest is £4.89
You then click on special offers and it shows a range of toys inc Roary.
The most expensive being £39.14 (£10 off price) (inc in 20% off home del code offer)

When you add them to your basket it doesnt show the discount but I wonder if they will over ride this instore as it shows on the web site.

If anybody tries please report back.

    I have put this in the Argos board but thought some of you might be calling in there today and would be a good glitch if you get it.

    I would argue the point at the till and see what they say as they are advertising this deal on their website.
  • not found it to be working online

    BUT

    if you add the Roary race track @ £39.99 and then two of the buy two get third free items, then the race set comes as free.

    I did this with the race set , friction car and roary doodle and it came to £22. hope it helps someone.

    Have you been instore to try as my post says?

    (I know it doesnt work online as per OP)
  • Hi claire

    No not tried it instore, but cant see them letting you have a £40.00 toy for £5, but it may work for some.

    If this doesnt work instore:

    Quote from cheepskate:

    (this offer is shown under the Roary Racetrack special offer but is taking the most expensive item ie the track off)

    Racetrack £39.14 - shows as free, Roary doodle £12.69, Roary friction car £9.78.
    Total £22.47

    or a Roary toolbox playset @ £16.63 in place of the doodle or friction car.
  • If only this worked for Cordless telephones looking for a cheap bargain

    This works out a really good safe glitch.

    For the sake of the difference between the £15 offer and your find for an extra £7, yours is much better value for 3 good toys rather than the cheap filler to get the glitch to work.

    Cheers

    cheepskate 's find works out best I think;

  • If you pay at the paystation thingy instore, surely they have accepted your cash and a contract has been formed? Probably talking rubbish as I am not an Argos regular...
