    Thanks for the advice about the birds on the radio programme, it has made me re-think about putting out the whole nuts. I love your pheasant story, we have also have had a couple pheasants who have come to the house to feed but they have never eaten out of our hands, you are lucky.
    We did get one of the robins to feed from us it is a lovely feeling when they learn to trust you.
