  • I would say it is still more than likely to turn up. Patience!

This where if sellers emailed you copy of the POP it may persuade people to hold on a little longer.

You should bear in mind that it is Christmas and the seller may simply not have the cash to refund you immediately, they may have to wait until they have received the refund from Royal Mail before they can afford to pass it back to you.
Really that is the buyer's problem not yours. It is the seller's responsibility to ensure delivery. It has been over two weeks and I would certainly put a claim in tomorrow after a call to your sorting office to check that it is not waitng there.

The fact that the buyer has to wait 15 working days (3 weeks) before they can make a claim is not relevant. Their message to you that they might try and ask the PO about it suggests that they are TSFE. If you sell on Ebay you have to abide by their rules.

I've just filed a claim for non-receipt on an item I paid for on 28th Nov, but that's beacuse the seller has not responded to my email asking when I can expect to receive.

I would probably allow a few days longer at this time of year if the seller is in contact, but ultimately it is up to them to refund you and claim from the PO if it does not turn up.
