Need Advice re my Vodafone contract
I am a newbie here so not 100% sure where to start. I have been on a Vodafone contract (same one) for the last 4 years. I have never upgraded or got a new phone.
The deal I am on is £15 and for that I get 100 inclusive anytime minutes.
However, I am not using these minutes and losing them, I am texting but don't get any free texts. I probably use about 50 minutes - but mainly because I have inclusive minutes! I text about 30 a month.
My Nokia 3310 has now broken and I am in need of sorting out my mobile. Do I cancel my contract and go PAYG and which network is best at the moment. (Husband on Vodafone but that could change).
Also, where is the best place to buy.
Thank you for your help.
Angela.

O2 Online do a PAYG sim card where by you top up £10 each month and you will be given 300 Free Texts in addition to keeping the £10 top up, also if you top up £15 you will get 300 Free Texts plus 150 Off Peak X Network mins and the £15 to keep for calls during the day.
Doesn't solve the broken phone problem though, if its a basic phone for calls and texts then I would recommend the Nokia 1100 or the Nokia 6030.
Visit this site http://shop.o2.co.uk/nus to get the Nokia 6030 for £29.99 delivered.

You might look into various contracts with cashback options.
Or on payg, the O2 SIM is a good idea, but unless you use the phone more, maybe a better option would be the 100 call minutes or messages - ie a mixture.
Maybe you would not need to top up every month, but just run down the credit in the months without.0 -
Or you could go onto vodafone and ask them to change your tariff to the 75 mins and 100 texts for £16 a month then you would get a phone free if not just go onto there website and do it, ive just been on and the nokia 6030 is free on that tariff. Take into account price of new phone and what you would top up, this low end tariff sounds close to what you use and you could possibly get another phone that was just an example.
Vodafone and 6030 just click the drop down to change phones. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Thanks gk172. Have just rung Vodafone and got that deal for £10 a month with a free Ericsson V600i phone. Apparently the phone is supposed to be good. Havent a clue though.0
