Am i right in thinking if i buy a oyster card and put a tenner on it, i can use it all day on Saturday and it will only charge me the equiverlant of a one day rail card, no matter how many trips i make on the tube?
And coming back in Jan can i still use the oyster card if there is money on it?
Thanks0 -

And to the best of my knowledge, there is no peak time on a weekend. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

There is a daily maximum,or cap, which is 50p less than a 1 day travelcard, no matter how many journies you make once you reach the cap, you will not be charged any more that day. Any credit left on your card doesn't expire it will stay on there until you either use it or cash it in.
Off peak travelcards can be used from 09:30 Monday to Friday or all day Saturday, Sunday and public holidays on the day of validity and for any journey that starts before 04:30 on the following day, so you would need 2 cards for Sat and Sun.0 -
