How MUCH is tax credits per child approx??

Hi, I have 3 children, 10,8 and 18months. I work 22.5 hours a week. Sometimes I can get my hours up to cover sickness/holidays etc but its not guaranteed but it is a 'safe' job...very little chance of redundancy and so Im not willing to leave in order to get a less safe job or be the last one in, first out scenario.. My OH claims DLA and IS and I keep telling him hes ready for the scrap heap..lol.
Is there an approximate amount per child or is it calculated with my work hours? im just trying to see if Im going to get an overpayment bill.
Thanks for your help.

Your hours and income are all factored into it, so there really is no way anyone can give you any indication on Working Tax Credit.
CTC is a 'basic' amount regardless of the number of children you have, but people with a child under 1 get a basic £1090 instead of £545 (I see your youngest is beyond this), but again I think there is a higher rate for low income families, and it gets reduced above a certain income (and stopped completely if income is over £58k).Cheryl0 -

Child Tax Credit is currently £2085 per child. In addition to that, there's a £545 CTC Family element so you should be getting £130 PER WEEK CTC as well as £44 Child Benefit.
Child Tax Credit is paid regardless of the hours you work and you still get it when you're unemployed as they don't put money in JSA or IS for children anymore.
The Working Tax Credit is based on the hours you work and the annual income. You need to do at least 16hrs to qualify for WTC and 30hrs to get the higher rate but the higher rate is only worth an additional £10 a week which can be cancelled out by your income for doing the higher hours.
There is no way your OH should be getting IS as you work. Do you mean Incapacity Benefit?0 -

I am not sure if I am getting the correct amount then. I will be getting £27 a week for 2 children. But the above figures dont match that for the CTC. Is this the same across the board?0 -

So do you get the 2085 per child regardless of income etc? Plus the 545?
I have 2 children - aged 9 & 2 - sowould calculate itas being:
2085 x 2 + 545 = 4715
divided by 52 weeks = 90.67
But I have been told I will be getting £27 something a week.
Doesnt make sense to me??
