unable to copy word file to MP3. Again it shows the same error as before cannt find the specified file make sure the file name and path are correct.......
It does only show drive G and not the make of the MP3 player, is that correct ?
  • It won't show the make of the MP3 player. It should only be seen by the comp as a removable drive/external drive/storage device or something similar.

Not having a MP3 player that uses SD cards, does it require formatting before use?

Try creating a new directory on your PC, say MP3Test, and then copy one of these MP3 files using the same method as before.

    Does that work?

What folders are availble on drive G when you plug your device in?

Is the test folder on the MP3 drive? If so, compare the test folder properties to the music folder - do they match i.e. are they the same format FAT, FAT32 ?

The test folder was in the music file, i have no file visible in the g drive (mp3 player). The SD card was formated on the fat 32 system

I have tried the Myson century website for the file suggested by the support team but it was a RAR file which flashed up all sorts of warning from AVG and Zonealarm, which then would not open as windows did not have the correct file yo open it.

    WinRAR will handle that.

Sorry, the above does not make sense. Is the test folder on your computer or on the mp3 player?
