one sent e mail not in sent items box-all others ok

I have sent 2 e mails to a well known companys customer service dept via their website and neither is showing in sent items. The havent come back as undelivered either. Does anyone know why this may be? The format of the e mail was via one of their online "forms" rather than clickng on the e mail address and the usual blank e mail appearing.
Many thanks

If I understand you correctly, then you have indeed answered your own question LOL: they won't show up in Sent Items in your email program (be it Outlook, Yahoo, Messenger etc) because of the online 'form' format being used. :)

And thats one of the reasons I prefer to send a real email if you have that option as you at least know its been sent. That said most of these online contact forms (or the ones that are well designed) will get you an email response to say that your message has been received.
