It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Me & hubby had a lovely and successful Christmas shopping trip to York yesterday.
We were also there for the NHS carol Service in York Minster which is an amazing experience!

  • I'd come :p

I am trying to meal plan for Christmas - including lunches  mainly for DSs sake, to avoid the 'ham-sandwich-again' syndrome

OH does not eat beef. I find this more and more frustrating as time goes on as I get bloody FED UP of chicken! And am scared of cooking pork. Well I say scared - inexperienced. Time to get the slow cooker out?
  • Luc,
Im the same...and the last time it kind of did happen...only 4 people came and felt a right billy no mates-mind you, I DID have the flu and didnt bother to invite people til the actually day, lol.

I get dead stressed everytime people come round! (Would like to point out that I don't mean my real 'friends'-they love me no matter what, RIGHT Sammy, Maz, Keren, Sar and Snags???????!!?!?!?!!?)
Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale
