D600 or W800i - Should I keep my new Samsung D600 or get a SE W800i??

Hi everyone, I just made the splash and got a Samsung D600 from a highstreet shop, negotiating a pretty sweet cashback.

Problem is, as I was leaving I checked out some of their other phones. They told me that I can exchange my D600 for another one within a 14 day period.

Im quite tempted by the SE w800i, esp. because it comes with a larger amount of memory (512mb compared with d600's 84 mb).

But the w800i is bigger, and I'd prefer the handset to be as small as possible.

theres also the nokia N70... hmmm

What would you go for, d600, w800i or n70 assuming exactly the same cost. Which is the best phone?

Cheers

Actually I'm tempted to go for the N70 - its internet functionality seems better than d600 or w800i and ive already got an ipod so music isnt a big deal.

Only problem is it looks a bit bigger...
  • I have a K750i and a N70 .. N70 is quite a bit bigger.
Also camera is better on the K750i (W800i) IMO.

N70 runs TomTom mobile tho .. which is a bonus.

Overall I think I prefer the K750i (W800i), it just "feels" better .. hard to explain really.

yeh your comments are certainly exactly in line with my impressions... when it comes to portability the SE beats the n70... thats a big thing for me.

Just a question - how much better is n70's internet facility than the w800i? Is there much difference?

I mean the w800i is WAP 2.0 right? What is the N70 because in the shop they were saying if you want mobile internet then N70 is much better.

Is N70 truly funcional as a mobile internet or is there still some hassle?

I have a W800i and its really good, my girlfriend has a D600 and she prefers my phone, as pictures look better, you have a walkman on it and basically looks more stylish and cool than the D600. So I would reccoment the W800i rather than the D600..

Great, thanks for the tips, glad to see my instincts were confirmed about the w800i over the d600.

Now the only problem remains - stylish, compact w800i or bulky, boring-looking n70 with more features?

The problem is, I just can't see myself keeping the n70 in my pocket!

I have had a W800i since Aug. Brilliant. Lightweight, good battery power, brill camera and good sound quality walkman.
