You can go over it, but they might not release your orders, they sometimes ring, if not they send a letter saying your goods will not be released..

On a second note, I think that those who didn't get a slot should check their account and make sure that they have ticked the box to sign up for promotions etc and make sure that they have your correct email address as they might affect you not getting a VIP - it is just a thought. I do everything on the internet with Next - arrange returns, make payments and my orders - I don't know if that makes a difference? Just thinking out loud really.

There is a button at the top right now, on my a/c, next to the flowers that says Winter sale..

I tried to add something to my basket to see what would happen, and in red it says sale price, but the price hadn't adjusted...

I thought I'd found a loophole :rotfl:

I have a 5pm slot to. I am not a regular buyer from Next and I don't usually buy in the sale. Not sure why I received on but I am really happy. Can't wait till 5pm!

I have gone through to my next account via ipoints - do you think i will still get the ipoints? Has anyone done that in the past - with the sale? I always get ipoints normally when I shop with Next via ipoints. Sorry if it sounds confusing!!

I dont see why not, they don't charge your account til 10 days after you have received your goods and some stuff may be on 2-4 week delays anyway. Although i don't KNOW this for definate. Could you make a payment thru next to your account online now and leave it in credit just in case?

Well that just sucks, I rang them up beacuse I have been a customer for 3 years and no VIP, they said sorry it is just random who gets a vip slot and I havn't! I have over £900 credit with them and am so p***ed off that I can't use it early, I'm sure everything will be gone that's any good for me after that:mad:
The staff member didn't even know when the sale was starting??? any idea?????

I live in Southampton / Fareham and if someone wants to pm me then I will do my very best to get an item for them if they don't have a VIP slot. Pick up only.
