I remember in the last sale, I booked the earliest slot showing as soon as I got the VIP section on my account (I can't remember exact timings but I think it was 5.30 or 6.00) and then a day later, was just checking my account and I saw there was the option to book an earlier one!!! (it was either 5.00 or 5.30) so I wondered if someone had had to rebook for a later slot and left a space free for me to rebook into...

Think Next refreshes its system at 6am every morning after a week or so

I hate the Next sale. Same old people always get the VIP slots and order hundreds of items, most of which they have absolutely no intention of keeping, and by the time the non-VIPs get a chance there is nothing left. Selfish, selfish, selfish.

I've been shopping with Next online for the past 10+ years and never, ever got a VIP slot so I don't believe the "random invite" story one little bit.

Oh yes, I am very selfish to order things from a catalogue and return them within 10 days so someone else can order them in the sale. Not going to lose any sleep over it I'm afraid.
I love the next thread - more controversy than any other!! Its full of very happy people who have VIP slots and very unhappy people who don't.

nearly all of the things i order in the sale i keep, i just get my kids stuff from the sale, rarely anything for myself as "yes" i end up sending it back, so i dont bother anymore.
