  • I cant believe it I just phoned next and asked them straight out if i buy something and and it goes down in the sale would i get the sale price, she said if they dispatched before the sale starts then No..... BUT if they dispatch it when the sale has started and the item does come down in price then you pay the sale price.

You just need to hope what you pick comes down in price when you buy it and make sure its dispatched when the sale is on :T:T:T:T:T

lol hehe Don't worry, my next lady is the best thign ever! plus, she's as pleased with punch at my large orders and large returns cos I think she gets paid on a per parcel basis (although I might be wrong...)...so I pack everything back in the individual wrappers it came in rather than stacking 3 or 4 parcels into one return..

Ah, i hope my customers talk about me like that:rotfl: . You're right though, we do get paid per parcel so if anyone has any christmas spirit left after christmas please bear this in mind and package all your returns saperately. If your couriers are like me, we'll be happy!!:o
  • Mine says sale starts at 5pm too:confused:

Is it better to do the quickshop ??

Abit scared at ordering as in the last summer sale , i was away on holiday while my summer sale stuff arrived , told courier this and he/she did my signature and Next charge me for the items i didnt get !! Courier kepted them . After months of calls and showing them my signature they refunded my money !!

Always keep a note what you ordered and got !!

I dont think there is a problem think its a lot of scare mongering or just certain ppl having problems. Ive been watching this thread and hot uk deals and only ONE PERSON has said Next rang them.

Not that many people have 5pm slots really, its only about 30 which isnt many really when you think about it

Hi, I'm the person who Next rang. I simply thought I'd pass on what was said, as it seemed like it would be of interest to those on this thread, and I've benefited from a lot of information on MSE in the past. Certainly no scaremongering on my part. I have already got a 5-5.30pm slot booked and confirmed by email so not quite sure what my motives would be for winding people up .

Assuming everyone who has a 5pm slot has posted it on here!!??!! . . .. . . . which I very much doubt.

I think you'll need to add a few hundred to your 30..... at least!

Yes they do, I apologised once for having to return a number of parcels and my courier said that was fine, the more the better as she got paid for the return of each one!

i dont think they do now, i thing they get paid per collection, as lately, you only get one signed receipt (and returns sticker), no matter how many parcels they pick up - causes alot of problems, as you then have to prove that the other parcels were returned at the same time, as the one that you have a sticker on

i know, me and a few friends have had returns go missing, and we have no way of proving it, as the signed receipt was invariably for a different parcel

  • Some Items are coming up delivery in 1-2 weeks if you order them now. Assuming they arrive after the sale, you should get them at sale price.:j
