My orders were such a mess last year - loads of the wrong items were sent (eg flowerey skirts instead of trousers - like some temp staff were messing about ) which meant I missed on the things I was after. The orders came in dribs and drabs upto 6 weeks after Christmas. Not like a couple of years back when my order arrived in full couple of days before Christmas!

I have been a customer for 6 years, and always get an invite, previews etc etc, but the online sale isn't as good.

I am not sure about that, I have always got all the invites etc, I think it is based on customer spend.

Wrong - as I said its ALWAYS the same ppl getting invites and ALWAYS the same ppl never getting invites. I follow the threads on here every sale and see this for myself and its the same with my friends and family too. They either get an invite EVERY sale or have never EVER had one. How is that randomn?


Thats the sort of nonsense you get told when you ring Next to complain about the system

i agree it seems to be that if you have a very high credit limit AND have ordered that month and still have to pay for it you will get an invite- lets just say thats worked for me and the one year i didn't ordered that month and have a payment pending - i didnt get an invite- coincidence??- i doubt it!

I don't want to tempt fate, but I've had a VIP slot every time, for the last 2 years. This seems to support your idea that it isn't completely random. I don't tend to order anything from the directory when it is full price (I do buy in the store but obv they don't record this on my account) but have always ordered several hundred pounds worth of stuff in the sales. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Do you not use your directory card in store?

i hope i get one this year,i doubt it though i only really ever shop in the sales even though i have the directory,just use it to decide what i want!!!!!
