BE WARE Sky Billing is RUBBISH !!!!

I subscribed to Sky see, speak, surf in December 2007 (BIG MISTAKE!!) all was fine till June 2008 when I was over charged, I waited till the following month but when I was over charged again I contacted Sky to ask why. They said the offer had been taken off my account, they couldn't explain why but admitted it was a mistake. They promised to credit my account for 2 months overcharge and drop the payments back down, but I only got part of the dues and payments didn't drop back down.

:confused: I rang again, another operator confirmed the above and promised I would be credited and payments dropped back down. Surprise Surprise this didn't happen so I stopped my DD and wrote to Sky explaining why. As far as I was concerned they broke the contract. Then they wrote and said I had broken the contract and because I had cancelled within 12 months there would be an additional charge.:confused:
I wrote again, customer services contacted and said the offer was taken off because I had cancelled Sky speak, but Sky wrote and told me shortly after joining that they couldn't provide the talk element because of a tech problem!!!
I even wrote and offered to pay the original agreed monthly sum to the end of the contract in a lump sum if they would only advise how best to pay. This was ignored. I was NOT prepared to give them access to my bank account through DD again.

:j WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T GO WITH SKY THEY ARE RUBBISH.:j

I wrote to Denise Allan head of Finance to which no reply other than another demand for money or further action. I don't have time for this but am not prepared to be bullied by Sky.

:mad: WHAT CAN I DO? CAN SOMEONE ADVISE?? THEY ARE THREATENING TO TAKE ACTION IF I DON'T PAY:mad:
