had a go in the new mondeo at the weekend, its a great drive,it was the 2.0 tdci 6 speed manual with cruise control,an absoloute plesure to drive and great fuel economy.
dont know the best place to buy one though....work permit granted!0 -
Worth a look at Ford Direct as a starter - normally ex-lease, 1 or 2 years old with reasonable warranty http://www.ford.co.uk/ns7/forddirect/forddirect/0

Do a bit of research online, then get on the phones. Everyone should be keen to do a deal at the moment!
If your prepared to take something from a dealers stock before xmas you might just help the finish their targets for the year = extra money of for you.
If you know someone that works at ford they can get you a good deal on the 'ambassador' scheme.0 -
Keep it coming guys0

Have a look at www.motorpoint.co.uk got some great deals on 07 and 08 reg models. Bought from them this summer and was very pleased with the service.
Outlets at Glasgow, Burnley, Derby, Peterborough and Newport. Easy to navigate website too.0 -
Hi Harveybobbles,Yes you are right its a fantastic motor, but i am partially disabled i have arthritis in my back and i cant seem to get comfortable in the seats after about 30 mins driving but i must admit i do like them,My brother has one of these motors and i kinda got talked into buying it, but i am looking for something that is a bit more upright on the seats and one of those seats where you can adjust the lumber position.other than that they are very good motors.Cheers0

Hi why not just change the seat, for something like a Recaro. Must be cheaper than a new car and you get to keep a car that you know and like! Hope that helps;)0
