Hiya everyone i've not updated for a while, my total currently stands at £140 and i've got a cheque for £33 to go in on tues. I've decided to i want enough in my vsp to pay my tv licence and home ins for the year (due july) which will be roughly £570. Not sure if this is doable but i'm gonna give it a good go. I tend to try harder too when i know i've got a goal to aim for.

I really really like this idea. I get paid monthly but am going to look at my online bank account each sunday and transfer the appropriate amount.

So my first deposit in the virtual sealed pot is £9.77.

I have it in an online savings account entitled Don't touch until 1st December and am aiming to have a cash only festive period - ie not to rely on the old cc's to get me out of trouble.

    Hi guys

My usual monthly £50 across today, loan direct debit has come out despite it being paid off so I can't quite figure out how much spare money I've got!

Have transferred £4.08 across in addition as that's how much over the £10 rounding I am, may end up transferring more tomorrow when my loan payment is refunded.

Glad to see everyone's doing so well!

I smashed my target about a month ago and am marking it as complete! Focusing my saving powers on a much bigger goal now - trying to make sure I have a month's wages in my savings account by Christmas.

Will no doubt pop in from time to time to cheerlead!
